In the wobbler room, we recognise the importance of supporting and encouraging the child’s communication skills as well as their gross and fine motor skills. We nurture this by providing linguistic, physical, cognitive, social and emotional learning experiences.

Promoting an interest in reading is essential at all ages; at this stage particularly, children begin to show enthusiasm for picture books. Therefore, we provide a selection of both textured and fabric books along with hardback picture books, to ensure your child’s linguistic needs are met. We also encourage the use of baby sign language

In the wobbler room, the children can sometimes still be that little bit wobbly or maybe they are just starting to get their feet on the ground. To support this area of their gross motor skills, we ensure there are plenty of opportunities to perfect their new-found skills.
Meal times are supervised by staff and we encourage the wobblers to feed themselves. Meal times can be a messy affair, but we encourage the children to explore the texture of the food while they eat.

Our sleep room provides the children with a safe and relaxing environment for them to rest in while being observed regularly by our staff.
